Guess what i am doing next summer?

OMG I am really doing this!

So this is it, Launch Day, the point of no return, the day I make my intentions public and commit to seeing it through. This is easily the craziest endeavor I have ever embarked on and is truly going to be the adventure and challenge of a lifetime.

The Great Unknown

As I write this first entry in October 2012 the only certainty i have is the clarity of my goals (play 100 rounds of golf in 100 days and raise $1,000,000 for charity), beyond that, the path is unclear as to how this will be achieved and that is what makes this both scary and incredibly exciting!

Sorry Mother but I will be Talking to Strangers

As I have mused over the idea for many months up to this point, I do have several ideas for fund raising and how to organize ‘The Challenge’, that being said, one thing is very clear, I will not be able to do it all on my own and will need the support of others (many of whom I don’t even know yet). So let me start out by saying ‘Thank You’ to all those that will inevitably help me along the way, I strongly believe that human nature is to help each other and i look forward to having that belief confirmed.

I have no idea how many phone calls, emails, letters and meetings I will be involved with over the next year but it’s thrilling to know that I’ll be making all those new connections.

Supporting Me is Easy

I hope you are inspired by ‘The Challenge’ and would love to have your support along the way. Please take a second to sign up for my newsletter and/or connect via the social media links to the right, so that you can follow my progress and share in my trials & tribulations as i put together this epic challenge and then travel the breadth of this magnificent country whilst completing ‘The Challenge’.

Thanks for reading and please feel free to leave a comment below.
